1. Imu

Imagine having the ability to erase entire islands and pulling the strings behind a government that everyone thinks runs under an empty throne. 2. Gol D. Roger
Gold D. Roger was not given the title of Pirate King for nothing. Prime Roger was untouchable by any other mortal in his era, even without a Devil Fruit. His Conqueror’s Haki and willpower were unmatched. Being considered the strongest while Whitebeard is still in his prime, conquering the Grand Line and uniting legends under his banner is a testament to why he’s one of the most powerful characters in One Piece.
3. Whitebeard
Edward Newgate, commonly known as the legendary Whitebeard, was the definition of a badass. I mean, you don’t get called “The Strongest Man In The World” for nothing. Prime Whitebeard stood as Rogers’ only true equal. Wielding Gura Gura no Mi he was basically a walking (sailing) natural disaster.
4. Kaido
Prime Kaido of the Beasts was one of the main antagonists in One Piece. wielding the Uo Uo no Mi Devil Fruit, which allows him to transform into a hybrid and in the absolute form of the Azure Dragon. He can further boost his powers while being in this form by controlling the elements and summoning flame clouds.
5. Monkey D. Luffy
No credible ranking of the “strongest One Piece characters” exists without Luffy. Monkey D. Luffy, also known as Straw Hat, is the captain and founder of the Straw Hat Pirates. The future Pirate King built his strength from the heartbreaking experiences and the near-death battles in which he put his life on the line for his friends. 6. Shanks
This list would not be complete without prime Shanks. Red-Hair, as he’s often called, is no ordinary man. Mentor to young Luffy. The man was able to end the war between the Pirates and Marines simply by his presence, all without Devil Fruit powers. He possesses all three forms of Haki, with Conqueror’s Haki being the strongest.
7. Sengoku
Sengoku the Buddha got his name because of Hito Hito no Mi, his Devil Fruit powers that allows him to transform into a Human-Buddha hybrid. He also possesses all three forms of Haki. On top of mastering these overwhelming powers, Sengoku already has superhuman strength, making him a beast even without them.
8. Sakazuki
More commonly known as Akainu, the Fleet Admiral of the Marines. Surely one of the most arrogant and unjust characters in the series. He possesses Magu Magu no Mi Devil Fruit that grants him the power to turn into magma. You might not like him, but he’s on this list for a reason.
