The Mythical Detective Loki Ragnarok

Loki, the Norse god of mischief, has been exiled to the human world for reasons he does not understand. In addition to being deported, Loki is forced to assume the form of a human child. The only way for him to return to the realm of the gods is to collect the evil auras that take over human hearts. To accomplish this, he establishes a paranormal detective agency. Loki is aided by his loyal companion Yamino. The two are soon joined by a human girl named Mayura Daidouji. Un-Go takes place in a dystopian Japan of the future. After some time, the war-torn country achieves an uneasy peace, and the Japanese government passes the “Information Privacy and Protection Act” in the name of preventing terrorism and future attacks on the country. The Act gives Rinroku Kaishou, a tech company executive, control over a vast surveillance network that can collect data from nearly any connected device in the country, which he allegedly uses to combat all types of crime.

Detective School Q

Detective School Q follows a group of young students from Dan Detective School (DDS), a prestigious and renowned detective academy founded by Morihiko Dan, Japan’s most famous detective, and the adventures and mysteries they unravel and solve together. They eventually work against Pluto, a mysterious organization that devises nearly fool-proof plans that only a handful of detectives can decipher.

Ghost Hunt follows Mai Taniyama, a first-year high school student who becomes involved with Shibuya Psychic Research (SPR) and its young manager, Kazuya Shibuya. Because of his narcissistic attitude, Mai nicknames Kazuya Shibuya “Naru,” and the nickname is generally adopted by all those who come to eventually work with SPR: Buddhist monk Houshou Takigawa; shrine maiden Ayako Matsuzaki; celebrity teen psychic Masako Hara; and Catholic priest John Brown.

Gosick takes place in 1924 in a small, French-speaking fictional European country that stretches from Switzerland to the Mediterranean Sea via the Alps between France and Italy. The country is referred to as “Sauville” in the English translation of the light novels, and the capital of Sauville is referred to as “Saubureme” in the anime adaptation. The plot revolves around Kazuya Kujo, the third son of an Imperial Japanese Army officer, who is a transfer student at St. Marguerite Academy, where urban legends and horror stories are popular. Victorique de Blois, a mysterious yet beautiful and brilliant girl who never comes to class and spends her days reading the entire contents of the library or solving mysteries that even detectives can’t solve, meets him there.
